Evolving LANDSCAPES

This series explores the changing landscape that can be completely transformed every year based on the seasons or only on rare occasions when the conditions are just right.

Aerial PERSPECTIVE

Over the years Kyle Goetsch has captured some remarkable images from the air. Whether it be from a helicopter or hot air balloon, the unique perspective of an aerial image still captivates the imagination.

The CALL of the OCEAN

Kyle Goetsch has always had a deep love for the ocean and capturing seascapes is one of his favourite genres of photography. This series explores the many seascape locations of the Western Cape, South Africa. Focusing on the unique rock formations carved out over millennia by the wild oceans that dominate the southern tip of Africa.

LIGHT in the DARK

This series explores the unparalleled dark skies of the Southern Hemisphere. Kyle Goetsch has a remarkable passion for astrophotography and spends countless hours out in the dark every year, pursuing unique compositions combining both the night sky and foregrounds.

The PLAYGROUND of GIANTS

This series explores the breath-taking Drakensberg mountain range in South Africa. Kyle Goetsch visits these mountains at least once a year and is constantly updating this series with new content so keep an eye out for new works. 

RELICS of a TIME PAST

This series explores the photographic location of Deadvlei in the Namib-Naukluft Park, in Namibia. These ancient camel thorn trees, preserved due to the extremely dry conditions of the region, are the subject of this series. Kyle Goetsch focused on the shifting light patterns cast by the clouds above creating a truly unique collection of images.

CAPE of STORMS

This series explores the unique weather around the cape peninsula, which can suddenly turn bad, giving it the name "Cape of Storms". The area is also prone to fog banks due to the cold waters of the Atlantic Ocean. Kyle Goetsch captures these stunning weather phenomenon of the Cape, situated right on his back door. 

Shifting SANDS

This series explores the abandoned ghost towns of Namibia, reclaimed by the desert sands. Kyle Goetsch explores these abandoned buildings in search of unique compositions that capture the stark beauty of these locations.

COASTLINE Paradise

This series explores the unique world of top-down imagery along the coastline of Southern Africa. Taken from above these images offer you a completely new perspective and appreciation for the clear, blue waters off the African coastline.
