Photographic Hides
Kavinga Safari Lodge offers exceptional opportunities for wildlife and bird photography thanks to its specialized hides. The termite mound–style photographic hide provides eye-level views of elephants, lions, and other iconic wildlife as they approach the waterhole, allowing photographers to capture intimate, close-up shots in natural light.
Meanwhile, the bird hide is perfectly positioned for observing and photographing the incredible diversity of birdlife along the floodplains, from waterbirds to raptors, without disturbing their natural behavior. Both hides allow for extended, relaxed sessions, giving you the chance to patiently wait for the perfect shot while staying comfortable and connected to the bush.
