Days are spent on guided game drives, while evenings unfold around the fire with the sounds of lion, hyena, and elephant moving through camp. With its raw beauty, abundant wildlife, and complete sense of isolation, this is a destination that delivers a deeply immersive and unforgettable photographic safari.
Tuli Wilderness
Visiting Tuli Wilderness in June offers exceptional dry-season conditions, with sparse vegetation and cooler temperatures creating outstanding game viewing and consistent predator activity. The area is home to an incredible diversity of wildlife, including elephant, lion, leopard, and cheetah, along with large herds of plains game such as kudu, impala, and zebra, often concentrated around the river systems. With very few vehicles in the Tuli Block, you’ll enjoy a truly wild and exclusive experience, often spending extended time with sightings without pressure, allowing you to wait for behaviour and capture meaningful photographic moments. Combined with the region’s striking, rugged landscapes and beautiful winter light, this is one of the best places for photography, offering a truly focused and rewarding safari experience.
