Ultimate Uganda 2027
Uganda is one of the best destinations in the world for chimpanzee and mountain gorilla encounters, offering exceptional wildlife experiences across a compact and diverse region. From the Mabamba Swamps, renowned for Shoebills, to the forests of Queen Elizabeth National Park and the misty slopes of Bwindi Impenetrable Forest, each area is ideally suited to what we aim to experience and photograph. With two workshop dates available, 4–11 February and 14–21 September 2027, both periods offer similar weather conditions, making them equally well suited for trekking, photography and immersive wildlife encounters with experienced local trackers.
Bee-Eater Migration & Chobe 2027
Join me for an unforgettable 7-night adventure following the spectacular bee-eater migration along two of Southern Africa’s greatest rivers. We’ll spend 3 nights on the Chobe River in Botswana and 4 nights on the Zambezi River in Namibia, all aboard specially designed photographic river boats that bring you closer to the action than ever before.
This unique experience offers world-class opportunities to photograph not only the bee-eaters but also an incredible variety of wildlife. Expect encounters with the Big Five, vast herds of elephants, crocodiles, hippos, and over 350 bird species that call this region home.

With private access, a small group of just six participants, and the comfort of an authentic tented camp, you’ll enjoy world-class photographic experiences in one of the last truly wild corners of Africa. This is raw, intimate safari living where the wild comes to you.
